There is no doubt it my mind that you will find your way in life to happiness and peace. What a wonderful and crazy journey it has been so far. I remember caring you on my shoulders when you were just a small boy and now you could easily carry me. You are a handsome, strong, funny and intelligent man. Life will be very full for you.
Since we have shared some of the same paths in life I will gratefully pass on to you some of the things I have learned to find happiness and peace myself.
- Be a ROCK…don’t be a pebble.
- Being a leader means you get to go first, even if it’s hard or scary.
- Self esteem is achieved by doing things that are difficult.
- Everyday above ground is a good day.
- Drugs and alcohol will fuck up your whole life.
- Find a good woman, marry her and never let her go.
- The FORCE IS WITH YOU if you have Integrity.
- One day you will burry your mom. Love her and hug her while she’s still here.
- In the moment of crisis heroes are born.
- Being an underdog and winning is one of the greatest feelings in the world.
- Your level of compassion for others = your level of happiness.
- Success often happens after a series of failures.
- Find something you love as your career and you will never work again.
- Happiness is not a destination, it’s a way of travel.
- Being strong means helping the weak despite what the average think.
- If life gets squirrelly, squeeze the tank with your knees and power out.
